My girlfriend and I are pretty keen on getting away on holiday for a week or two every year, and more often than that if we can afford it. To be honest neither of us have grown up, and we still love to go away and party for a week. Most couples we know head off to a beach resort and do nothing but sit by a beach or pool all day and soak up the sun, but that part of the day for us is generally reserved for sleeping off hangovers!

We like to go to cities where the night life is the main attraction, and this year we headed out to Budapest. I had found some really cheap flights to Budapest online, and we headed out thereafter finding a cheap guest house.

The week we spent there is still pretty hazy in my mind, but I do know that after being pretty much blind drunk every night, I still had a decent amount of money left in my account by the time we got home! On top of that it really was a beautiful city, and we did find ourselves being drawn in to the cities beautiful architecture in the daytime, and as the week progressed we found ourselves wanting to get up as bit earlier so that we could see a bit more of the city. Maybe we were growing up, or maybe we had just discovered a great city at long last.
